ANTIKYTHERA MECHANISM, THE MAGICAL JOURNEY

Antikythera Mechanism – The Magical Journey is a completely original, particularly important interactive childrens book with wonderful illustrations by Sophia Stika, which is inspired by love for innovation and cultural values, while the wonderful world of ancient Greek Technology, Greek Culture and Sciences by connecting them with their lives today in a very charming and meaningful way. The personal vision of its author, Constantin Stikas, who has been awarded by the Academy of Athens for his book on the Antikythera Mechanism, is to share with as many children as possible the thought that love for innovation and mans effort to realize the unrealized gives meaning to our lives and lead man to happiness. All the images of the book concerning astronomical issues have been realized with the contribution of the leading Greek Astrophysicist Mr. Dionysis Simopoulos.
